Disclaimer. Estimate only. DCC fees set by 4 CCR §§ 15014–15014.2 and subject to change — verify current amounts at the DCC's official fee page. Local jurisdiction fees (CUP, business license, ZBA, etc.) vary widely and are not included. This estimator is provided for informational purposes only and is not legal advice. The actual penalty in any DCC matter depends on facts, evidence, the assigned Deputy Attorney General, the ALJ, and negotiated resolutions — none of which this tool can model. Use this only as a rough starting point for conversation, not as a prediction. No attorney-client relationship is formed by using this tool. The DCC may also assert violations not in this database, and may exceed the listed maximums in some statutory cases (e.g. B&P § 26160(f), up to $30,000 per recordkeeping violation).

The difference is in the filing.

In our experience, California cannabis operators who file applications without specialized counsel face an average of 5 to 9 months in avoidable processing delays. The 104 licenses we have obtained did not come with that wait. Incomplete ownership disclosures, missed financial-interest filings, premises diagrams that do not match local CUPs, operating procedures that do not track the State regulations, RFIs that reset the clock — every one of those is fixable on the front end. We file applications that move through the queue the first time, defend operators against DCC enforcement, and keep licenses clean year after year.
